Initially, data collection was carried out using a total station and a laser distance meter, where the interpretation and drafting of building sketches was done on-site. Currently, data capture, without abandoning the previous tools, has changed drastically with the use of laser scanners. In each case, we will use the system that best suits the needs, whether in terms of accuracy, data-collection speed, or budget.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3337\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altipla.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/FOTO_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1440\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><em>Leica RTC360<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.altipla.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/FOTO_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><em>Geoslam<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Although the system may initially have a higher cost, the time savings make up for it, especially when the building to be erected is larger in scale.
