Archaeological work with a laser scanner

Altiplà carries out its first laser-scanning project

The work has consisted of laser scanning with a Faro laser scanner of some archaeological remains in the old town of Sabadell dating back to the Middle Ages, for the’Arrago company . The resulting 3D model comprises approximately 10 million points, with both position and color attributes. Orthophotos, contour lines, and various cross-sections were also produced.
