
These days we have worked on the detection and geolocation of a pipeline, still in operation, but without data on its route, of which only the supply point and the deposit where its route ends are known.

Given the impossibility of passing a probe through it, both due to its length, almost 1 km, and its diameter, we have opted for the use of a Radio Detection device (RD7000+). This device reliably locates the frequency that travels through the pipe (in this case metal) from the RD transmitter, which we connect to an accessible point on the pipe. In this way, with the GPS, it has been possible to geolocate the entire route.
