Welcoming a student from INSA Strasbourg

Collaboration with a French student

Last summer, Altiplà hosted a French student for a 6-week period as part of the internship Surveyor Expert in Valuations.

«Em dic Hugo Salgues, sóc de França i estic al 4t any en una escola d’enginyeria especialitzada en topografia a Estrasburg, al nord-est de França. Com a part del meu currículum escolar, he de realitzar una pràctica cada estiu d’un mínim de 4 setmanes. A més, al 5è i últim any, he de convalidar 12 setmanes de pràctiques en un país fora de França.

For this purpose, I chose to go to Altiplà, a company in Barcelona, to do this internship. I chose a duration of 6 weeks to validate my quota of weeks abroad and learn as much as possible. In fact, this internship has allowed me to learn even more about the technical field, to have experience in the field and to think about how to proceed with each topographic survey. This is very important for me, since my courses are almost entirely theoretical.

Practical classes

The results of these internships were very positive for me. In fact, it allowed me, as I wanted, to gain experience in the field and learn a series of procedures to perform different tasks, both in the field and in the office.

This internship period at Altiplà has represented a time to discover a company and get to know the entire team of workers, who eagerly helped me put into practice all the knowledge acquired at school.

In short, Altiplà is a multidisciplinary and united team, very motivated by what they do. Both in the workplace and outside there is a very pleasant atmosphere; in fact, we went on an excursion, in summit of Costabona, amb tots els companys, cosa que fa que la relació que hi ha dins de l’empresa sigui més bona, fent la meva estança més agradable.»
